Every year thousands of people add their names to organ donor lists hoping for a chance at a better life. One man north of Philadelphia needs all the help he can get.
Phillies fan Aj Tantala has been awaiting a new kidney since he was 2-years-old, due to something called posterior urethral valve syndrome.
“For the first 22 years of my life I was just, I was ignoring it,” Tantala said.
Nineteen potential donors and six billboards later, he is still waiting for a donor match to make his dreams of living a normal life become reality.
