President Joe Biden will speak in Syracuse about a new semiconductor deal and then head to Delaware before setting out on the campaign trail. With midterm elections approaching, President Biden has announced a visit to South Florida, where he will raise funds for Democratic nominees and combat Republicans’ hold on the state.
President Biden’s rally will be held on Nov. 1 from 4 to 7 p.m. The location has yet to be determined.
The announcement for the rally comes after former President Trump released tickets for his own gathering on Nov. 6. Hoping to garner support for incumbent Marco Rubio against Rep. Val Demings, the former president is making the trip to the Miami-Dade Fairgrounds. Current governor of Florida and Republican Ron DeSantis has not been invited to the rally.
Following a debate with opponent Charlie Crist, Gov. DeSantis found himself in hot water. During the debate, DeSantis hesitated to answer Crist when asked if he would serve all four years of his term. After several moments and waiting for his turn, DeSantis replied:
“I know Charlie is very interested in talking about Joe Biden and 2024. I just want to make things very, very clear, the only old worn-out donkey I am looking to put out to pasture is Charlie Crist.”
