Queen Elizabeth laid to rest after England’s ten days of mourning (includes video story)

The world watched as England’s longest-reigning monarch was laid to rest yesterday.

Queen Elizabeth’s funeral at Westminster Abbey hosted hundreds of world leaders and the royal family, who gathered to mourn. Outside, large crowds waited in the streets to get one last glimpse of the late queen as she made her way to Windsor Castle.

President Biden was in attendance yesterday and remembered Queen Elizabeth fondly.

“She was the same in person as her image: decent, honorable and all about service,” said Biden.

The queen is now buried at Windsor Castle alongside Prince Phillip, to whom she was married for 74 years.
