More than 100 fans gathered this past Sunday at Sports & Social, a bar and restaurant in Dolphin Mall to watch two of the world’s best soccer teams, Real Madrid and Barcelona, face-off in the Supercopa final.
The excitement and nerves in the air proved the passion that Miami holds for the two iconic teams.
Fabian Benitez, a young Barcelona fan who attended with his father and brother, said he badly wanted to see the teams in person, but settled for TV. “I would try to sell my house, my family, just to go [see Barcelona].”
The match ended in a 5-2 win for Barca, which made the team the 2025 Supercopa champions.
