Red Button Escape is an escape room located in Coral Springs that has reopened with guidelines aimed at safeguarding employees and guests.
“Right now we are making sure people use hand sanitizer or wash their hands before and after they participate in the escape rooms,” said Red Button Escape room owner Michael Barton.
Barton also has set rules for when guests are playing the game. “We make sure people are using masks when they come and play with other participants. If they are comfortable with their family members and there is no one else in the room for the staffing they can take them off but whenever they interact with the staff, we required they have their mask on.”
Walk-ins to rent an escape room were accepted before the pandemic, but appointments are now required.
“I think is a good rule to have, so that we can keep the escape rooms open [and] slow the spread of germs,” said Lisa Smith, who has played in Red Button Escape before. “I know they have rules about cleaning between every group.”
