A new Christmas park comes to Hialeah (includes video story)

Hundreds showed up at Hialeah’s Amelia Earhart Park this past weekend to begin the holiday season at Ripley’s Believe It or Not Christmas Park.

For the first time, the renowned franchise brought its unique style to South Florida. Its famous illusions, attractions and unbelievable performances will keep the Christmas spirit alive until Jan. 4.

Not only does the park introduce guests to a welcoming environment, it also provides one for the employees.

“[W]e are trying to have a great environment, not only for customers, but for workers too. We’re all really friendly,”  said Ricardo Pino, who was scanning tickets at the entry. “We’re happy to be here…It’s exciting to come here and live this experience, too.”

The park is open 5 p.m. to midnight through Jan. 4. Entry costs $39 for adults and $29 for children. For more details, visit their website.
