Sideline: NCAA Finals, Armstead retires, and LIV golf coverage

The Final Four ends in exciting matches to add to the March Madness. Florida comes back to beat Auburn while Houston upsets Duke. 

This is the first time all four number 1 ranked teams qualified for the Final Four, and Florida will play Houston in San Antonio tonight for the Championship. 

A Miami Dolphin legend retires. Terron Armstead puts down the helmet and leaves a legacy behind as one of the greatest offensive linemen in Dolphins history. 

And Trump National Doral Golf Course hosts LIV Golf Miami for a fourth consecutive year.

Esteban Rodriguez is a sophomore majoring in TV/Broadcast media. He is a producer for Caplin News and FIU's Sports show, Sideline. He hopes to pursue this path of producing for Sports Networks and/or Hollywood in the Film Industry.

 

Nicolette Esper is a fourth-year, first-generation college student studying digital broadcasting with a focus on sports journalism. With a passion for sports, Nicolette aspires to work in the sports media field with hopes of becoming a sports broadcaster.

Anthony Cruz is a sophomore majoring in Digital Media and Communications. A first-generation Cuban American, Anthony has been interested in local news since high school and hopes to pursue a career in reporting politics. He is also a lifelong South Florida sports fan.

Mia Florian is a digital communications and media major at Florida International University. She is a passionate and determined individual who aims to deliver accurate and entertaining information. Bilingual in English and Spanish, she understands the power to connect with diverse audiences. 

Rosaura Mendoza is a junior majoring in Digital Communication & Media with a track in Digital Journalism.

Sabrina Lozano is a Digital Communications in Media student at Florida International University, specializing in digital journalism and media with a focus on sports. She is passionate about storytelling and aspires to share compelling narratives that inform, engage, and inspire her audience.

Julien Lescano is a junior majoring in digital communications and multimedia broadcasting. Born and raised in Miami, Julien has had a fond love for the world of broadcasting since he started high school, and hopes to pursue a career in political/sports journalism. He is also a lifelong soccer fan.
