Sideline: The Panthers one win away, NBA Finals tied, and Inter Miami hosts Club World Cup start

The Florida Panthers are just one win away from keeping the Stanley Cup in South Florida. The NBA Finals series is tied with the Oklahoma Thunder and the Indiana Pacers fighting for their first ever NBA Championship. And dual coverage Inter Miami hosting the inaugural match for the FIFA Club World Cup.

Esteban Rodriguez is a sophomore majoring in TV/Broadcast media. He is a producer for Caplin News and FIU's Sports show, Sideline. He hopes to pursue this path of producing for Sports Networks and/or Hollywood in the Film Industry.

 

Nicolette Esper is a fourth-year, first-generation college student studying digital broadcasting with a focus on sports journalism. With a passion for sports, Nicolette aspires to work in the sports media field with hopes of becoming a sports broadcaster.

Sabrina Lozano is a Digital Communications in Media student at Florida International University, specializing in digital journalism and media with a focus on sports. She is passionate about storytelling and aspires to share compelling narratives that inform, engage, and inspire her audience.

Mauro Rueda is a bilingual Digital Communication and Media major who is fluent in Spanish and English. He aspires to have a career in broadcast journalism that allows him to cover sporting events in print and on TV.

Alejandro Marquina Villalobos is a junior majoring in Digital Broadcasting. In the future, he’s hoping to make an impact nationally and internationally as a political journalist.

Julien Lescano is a junior majoring in digital communications and multimedia broadcasting. Born and raised in Miami, Julien has had a fond love for the world of broadcasting since he started high school, and hopes to pursue a career in political/sports journalism. He is also a lifelong soccer fan.

My name is Alejandro Hernandez, I’m sophomore at FIU planning to major in Sports Media. After I complete my Bachelors, I wish to pursue a career in covering sports such as the NFL, NBA, and European Soccer.

Brianna Arias is an Ecuadorian-American digital broadcasting student who intends to pursue a career as a sports broadcaster, combining her passion for sports and journalism. Arias is open to finding new opportunities to enter this field, and her ultimate dream would be to one day broadcast the World Cup and motivate people to see more of the world of soccer.
