Sideline: Playoff Heat, Marlins break 5 game losing streak, and coverage of Miami F.C.

The Miami Heat makes history as the first tenth seed to make the NBA Playoffs and but then falls in their first game against the No. 1 seeded Cleveland Cavaliers. 

The Miami Marlins break a 5-game losing streak against the Philadelphia Phillies in the city of brotherly love before coming back home to host the Cincinnati Reds. 

Miami F.C. faces off against North Carolina F.C. at F.I.U’s Pitbull Stadium.

Esteban Rodriguez is a sophomore majoring in TV/Broadcast media. He is a producer for Caplin News and FIU's Sports show, Sideline. He hopes to pursue this path of producing for Sports Networks and/or Hollywood in the Film Industry.

Julien Lescano is a junior majoring in digital communications and multimedia broadcasting. Born and raised in Miami, Julien has had a fond love for the world of broadcasting since he started high school, and hopes to pursue a career in political/sports journalism. He is also a lifelong soccer fan.

Laura Iglesias is a sophomore majoring in TV & Broadcasting. After graduating, she dreams of pursuing a career in television to inform communities.

Rosaura Mendoza is a junior majoring in Digital Communication & Media with a track in Digital Journalism.
