Sideline Season 4, Episode 1

Sideline is back for its fourth season. Covering all South Florida sports news from Tyreek Hill’s hellish season start to the Miami Marlins’ big win over the Philadelphia Phillies.

The Miami Dolphins are 1-0 after a close-call win against the Jacksonville Jaguars here at home. The Fins trailed the whole game up until the fourth quarter, when they tied the game, then kicked a field goal as the clock hit zero.

Hill, the Dolphin’s star wide receiver, was detained by police just a few hours before kickoff. Reports say it started with a ticket for a moving violation, but it’s unclear why he ended up in handcuffs. Hill was released in time for the game and the officer who detained him is under administrative leave while investigations are being conducted.

The Miami Hurricanes are looking like a Category 5 problem for the A.C.C. after crushing Florida A&M in their home opener. Sideline’s Esteban Rodriguez was there to cover all of the action.

FIU also had a big home opener in the newly named Pitbull Stadium. Sideline’s Adrian Lora has more on fan reactions and coverage of the game.
