Skateburn Tuesdays lights up a fire jam on Biscayne (includes video story)

Skateburn is a weekly community event that takes place on Tuesday nights at Skatebird Miami. The park was lit up with fire acts and practices for its Halloween edition. This week, it brought together skaters, fire performers and local artists for a night of creative expression and fun.

The event at Biscayne Boulevard and NE 83rd Street is hosted by Flow Angels Entertainment. It has been growing since its launch in July 2023. It featured themed costumes, live DJs and glassblowing art. There was a diverse crowd of participants and spectators.

Skatebird owner Jonathan Strauss says Skateburn continues to spark connection, creativity and community in Miami’s underground art scene.

“The fire community coming into Skatebird to practice is a really good value because it’s a way for us to give back to the community and to see what creatives can do and how they can create,” said Strauss.
