Soccer Complex on 79th Street kicks off Halloween with spooky soccer fun (includes video story)

A sunny Saturday afternoon in Miami set the scene for some spooky-season soccer fun at the newly renovated Soccer Complex at 431 NW 79th St, which hosted the event “Ball and Boos.” It was a three-hour tournament filled with creative costumes, laughter and friendly competition.

From superheroes to skeletons, players of all ages came together to show off both their soccer skills and Halloween spirit.

“I truly believe that community creates connections, and events have the power to either change someone’s life or give them something to look forward to,” said Monica Rojas, the event organizer.

The event wasn’t just about goals and trophies—it was about bringing people together.

Parents cheered from the sidelines, kids made new friends and local vendors added to the festive energy. This spooky soccer celebration reminded everyone that when sports and community come together, everyone wins.
