Located in Coral Gables, Bulla Gastrobar is perfect for a date night, birthday celebration or just to go out with friends, this restaurant offers the complete Spanish experience. Prices range from $7 to $14 and they also offer Miami Spice options at around $45. Their tortilla española ($10), grilled octopus ($22) or their croquettes ($10.50) are only a few of their traditional Spanish tapas.

Their bar area also offers a more casual setting. It is perfect to hangout with friends and enjoy happy hour, which happens everyday from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m, only at the bar. With cheaper prices in drinks and selective foods, it’s the perfect place to unwind after a long day of work or to just get a drink.

They also offer delivery through different apps. It gets busy almost everyday at dinner, going as a walk-in is not a bad idea but there might be some waiting time.

From James Beard Award-winning chef Michelle Bernstein, located in Coral Gables, offers traditional Spanish flavors with a great atmosphere that includes live music, bar and a perfect seating for any situation. With a variety of wines and Spanish cocktails make it a great place to get a drink while enjoying some traditional tapas or even some of their main plates such as Seafood Paella, Roast Duck with oranges and their Prawns with Harissa.

It is always alive and a perfect place for celebration. The tapas are great to share for a more casual gathering. Their different types of Croquetas, their Fried Eggplant Chips, the Braised Mussels or even their Tuna Carpaccio are perfect for sharing.

The location is closed on Mondays and Tuesdays, but it gets busy on the weekends so a reservation is the best way to go.

Located in Coconut Grove and established by Chef Xabier Oteiza, this restaurant offers Basque cuisine right here in Miami. Perfect for a friend gathering or romantic date, this restaurant creates an authentic Spanish experience. 

The price range goes from $31-$50 per person. With wine bottles at around $32, or a glass at $9, it is a great place to share with others. A great place to order tapas with friends and share all night, with their croquetas ($19), octopus ($29), or their hot dog de txistorra ($25) and a tapa sharing night could go on all night. 

Bautista Samperi is a senior at Florida International University who is interested in digital journalism and broadcasting. Samperi is the sports director for PantherNOW where he oversees the coverage of university athletics. He interned at CNN as a researcher in Atlanta and also worked at Telemundo during the 2022 FIFA World Cup. Samperi hopes to work as a journalist at a media and entertainment company in the future. Bautista will graduate from the Lee Caplin School of Journalism & Media with a bachelor’s degree in digital communication and media in Spring 2026.
