This spring break looks to be a big travel season for the airline industry, according to a new report, with many people making up for canceled travel at the height of the pandemic.

According to Airlines for America, an industry advocacy group, major airlines such as Delta and Southwest will carry 2.6 million flyers per day during March and April.

Experts say this is going to be a test for the airline industry. Scott Keyes, who is the chief flight expert at, Going, a company that helps travelers find airline deals, explains the numbers.

“We pretty well expect these predictions to come through and the reason why is for each of the two months of 2023, you have seen travel numbers exceed the same month in 2019, according to chief flight expert at Going, Scott Keyes.

Warm states such as Arizona and Florida have been packed with families, as many around the nation are getting together after  missed travel during the pandemic, according to the Triple AAA spring travel survey.
