The Starbucks Cup Fund has helped millions of the company’s employees that struggle financially. It is a grant to use as a “safety net” that employees in extreme circumstances can apply for once a year.
Starbucks gathers the money from customers who purchase through the app.
One of the employees who’s received money from the fund states, “I’ve received the Cup Fund twice in my six years of working at Starbucks and both times it’s helped monumentally.”
