Stiletto Walk and Health Fair raises cash for breast cancer (includes video story)

The city of Hallandale Beach hosted its annual event for Breast Cancer Awareness month “Stiletto Walk and Health Fair” on Oct. 8.

Participants included breast-cancer survivors, people who have lost their loved ones to breast cancer and others who wanted to support the cause.

“Individuals wear tennis shoes, they wear stilettos, we make it fun, we make it exciting all in the cause to raise funds for cancer,”  said Cora T. Daise, director of the Stiletto Walk and Health Fair.

Breast Cancer Awareness Month takes place from October 1 to 31.
