Thirteen-year-old Ella Reed and her family are recovering from a shark attack that occurred Thursday afternoon at Fort Pierce Inlet State Park.
After 19 stitches from what she believes was a four-foot-long bull shark, she returned to her favorite place to reflect.
Her family says this was a learning experience, but it’s not keeping her from going back to the ocean.
“I’m just going to keep on coming back after the stitches come out,” Reed says.
