The Berry Farm’s annual Strawberry Festival in the Redland is once again welcoming visitors from across South Florida and beyond to celebrate the peak of strawberry season with fresh produce, live entertainment and family activities.
Held from Jan. 24 to March 1, it requires lots of preparation, coordinating vendors and fresh products.
“It doesn’t just take hours, it takes days,” said produce staff member Damari Gaynor. “We have to get the vendors out here, the bands, the DJs and all of that.”
Festival organizers say strawberries are what put the farm on the map.
From strawberry milkshakes and local jams to sunflower fields and obstacle courses, the festival offers more than just berries. Employees say the most rewarding part is seeing the community come together.
