Denzel Washington channels his inner detective in a new crime thriller, “The Little Things.”
The show is about a serial killer terrorizing Los Angeles, murdering and kidnapping numerous young women. The film stars Oscar winner Jared Leto as the potential serial killer.
Also on the cast is “Bohemian Rhapsody” star Rami Malek, who won an Oscar for his portrayal of Freddie Mercury. In “The Little Things,” he plays a frustrated sergeant who teams up with the local deputy played by Denzel Washington to hunt down the killer.
Leto gives his character a peculiar walk — copying that of North Korean Dictator Kim Jong Un — to make his character stand out.
“I thought when he walks across the room, he just owns the room,” Leto said. “There’s something about his body center and stuff, so that was the initial inspiration.”
“The Little Things” will be streaming this Friday, January 29th, 2021, on HBO MAX and premiering at movie theaters nationwide.
