The cast from “The Office” reunites in Miami (includes video story)

Eleven years after the series finale of “The Office,” the cast reunited at the Miami Airport Convention Center last week. Fans were able to take selfies and get autographs from the cast during a meet and greet on July 13 and 14. Also on the schedule were beach games, live trivia, a fan-favorite live Q&A and more.

The show, which is the American remake of a British series, aired from 2005 to 2013. Filmed in the style of a mockumentary, it was based on employees of a fictional paper company called Dunder Mifflin.

Characters from the show like Michael Scott, Dwight Schrute and Jim Halpert have become iconic names in both television and pop culture.

“It’s even bigger than it was when it was on NBC before there was any streaming,” said Melora Hardin, who played Jan Levinson. “We were the first hit on ITunes.”
