Top five soccer fields in Miami-Dade County

With amazing views and free soccer fields, Miami is a place where every “fútbol” fan can play their favorite sport. Its fields also provide an opportunity to spend time with friends and make new ones.

Here is a list of the top five soccer fields in Miami you’ll want to visit.

There is nothing better than playing soccer with a view of the Magic City skyline. Not far from the 305’s urban core, there is a hidden gem that has been open for almost 10 years. Soccer Cage Downtown has two fields suited for 5v5 or 6v6 games. They have high-quality turf, so you don’t have to worry about playing on uneven ground. You can also reserve both fields at the same time to fit an 8v8 game.

Prices vary depending on the number of players, ranging between $100 and $200. At night you can see the high-rise buildings and city lights of Wynwood.

This facility has a stand where you can buy various snacks and drinks as well as tables to sit and enjoy the game. You can rent Soccer Cage Downtown for parties, corporate events, and other celebrations. It is open seven days a week, and you can reserve it through the Plei App.

Located just blocks from the ocean, Flamingo Park is an excellent spot for people to hang out and play soccer on a full-sized field.

The facility was only used for American football at first, but as Miami Beach became more international, visitors began playing the world’s most popular game. Most folks hang around in the afternoon and evening for pickup games. Sometimes there are tournaments.

Use of this field is completely free, and it is perfect for making friends from across the globe without going over your travel budget.

For over 10 years, Revo Soccer has hosted 6v6 pickup games. The entire building is equipped with air conditioning and its turf is certified by FIFA. Renting one of its three fields costs $150 an hour.

Open Monday through Saturday from 8 a.m. to 2 a.m. and Sundays from 8 a.m. to 10:30 p.m., Revo offers a gym and sports bar with foosball tables. It also has a recording system that lets players relive their favorite moments from the game.

Argentinos Juniors, a historic club from Buenos Aires, has an academy for kids that practices in the facility. Birthday parties are welcome.

Soccer Land Park

Located in Doral, Soccer Land Park’s facility provides two indoor fields with striking blue turf, air conditioning and a service that records the games. Players can schedule 5v5 games for $130 an hour.

It has foosball tables and a lounge on its second floor. It also offers a soccer academy in partnership with PV International Sport Kids. Hosting birthday parties and other events is an option as well.

Soccer Land Park is open Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 11:30 p.m., Saturday from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m., and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Doral Legacy Park

Doral Legacy Park gives players the opportunity to organize different types of games for free. Its four outdoor fields come in different sizes, so you can choose to have matches ranging from 5v5 to 11v11.

The park is open Monday through Friday from 7 a.m. to 9 p.m., Saturday from 8 a.m. to 9 p.m., and Sunday from 8 a.m. to sunset. Some people go alone to practice their skills, since the number of fields allows for groups and individuals to use the park at the same time.

Brianna Arias is an Ecuadorian-American digital broadcasting student who intends to pursue a career as a sports broadcaster, combining her passion for sports and journalism. Arias is open to finding new opportunities to enter this field, and her ultimate dream would be to one day broadcast the World Cup and motivate people to see more of the world of soccer.

Mauro Rueda is a bilingual Digital Communication and Media major who is fluent in Spanish and English. He aspires to have a career in broadcast journalism that allows him to cover sporting events in print and on TV.
