Trump signs dozens of executive orders hours after inauguration (includes video story)

In a last-minute change due to cold weather, President Trump took the oath of office in the Capitol rotonda Monday morning.

Directly after being sworn in, Trump signed nearly 100 executive orders in front of avid supporters at a victory rally in the Capital One Arena. The president aimed to roll back his predecessor’s policies, leave the Paris Climate Agreement, and ease federal regulations on oil and natural gas production.

Trump’s top priority, however, is securing the border and continuing construction of the wall. One of his executive orders suspends the U.S. Refugee Admission Program, making it harder for noncitizens to seek asylum at the border.
