University of Denver students held a vigil on Mother’s Day to commemorate lives lost in the war in Gaza.
Students began setting up tents on Thursday after their demand for the university to disclose any ties with Israel was not met.
“We are feeling very disappointed by the lack of urgency in which this administration and this university as a whole is taking this matter considering the fact that this is an issue that is affecting millions of lives.” said student Jojo Carranza. “School administrators are said to be meeting with student protestors to follow up on their disclosure demands.”
