At El Arepazo, one of the traditional Venezuelan restaurants in Doral, people celebrated regime change in Venezuela by waving la bandera.
This came after President Donald Trump announced the U.S. had captured Venezuelan authoritarian leader Nicolas Maduro following a large-scale strike on Caracas early Saturday morning.
“We’ve been waiting for this for 26 years, and it has finally happened,” said a Venezuelan woman. “I can’t believe it.”
