Washington sees uptick in protests under Trump administration (includes video story)

How many protests is too many? That’s what Washington, D.C. residents and visitors have been asking themselves for the last three months.

Since the inauguration of President Donald Trump and his administration’s new policy changes, the D.C. metropolitan area has seen crowds of protestors take to the streets three to four times a week.

Still, some believe there’s more work to be done.

“No, I don’t think there’s enough [protests],” said Heather Griffis, a Washington local and regular protestor. “I think you can look at the media censoring right now and the lack of media coverage for the protests that you’re seeing and really see that there’s a reason they don’t want them to be seen. But that kind of lends itself to the fact that we need more of them.”
