Today is quite a sunny morning, but isolated showers are expected to move in as we go into our afternoon hours. Showers over the Everglades are moving quickly northeast due to gusty winds blowing from the southwest at 15 to 20 mph.
Heat will continue to be persistent over the next three days, with highs in the lower 90s and heat indices reaching the triple digits. Today’s heat advisory is in effect from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.
As we wrap up the week, rain chances jump to 50%, with scattered storms, and those rain chances remain high well into next week.
