Weather forecast 9/11/2026

TODAYS FORECAST

The next seven days will have our rain chances fluctuating quite a bit.

Numerous thunderstorms are expected to develop over Miami-Dade County by this evening, coming in from the southwest. Rain chances across the region will be in the 50-70% range. Temperatures will peak in the upper 80s or low 90s, with feels like temperatures reaching the 100s.

WEEKEND FORECAST

On Saturday there will be more widespread thunderstorms, likely starting in Miami-Dade County by the afternoon, and expanding to Broward County by the evening. Things should dry up by sunset, but total rain chances will be in the 70-80% range. Sunday should be a rinse and repeat, with rain chances again in the 70-80% range.

NEXT WEEKFORECAST

A plume of Saharan Dust will reach South Florida on Monday and Tuesday, lowering the rain chances to around 40-60%. Once that dust leaves the area by Wednesday, rain chances go right back up to the 70-80% range with widespread thunderstorms. Throughout the week, highs will be in the upper 80s to low 90s.

For the tropics, even though we are in peak hurricane season, no tropical development is expected during the next seven days.
