Weather forecast 06/03/2026

High temperatures will hit Miami this week, but a cold front starting today will dry up the humidity for the weekend.

This week started off with record-breaking temperatures that hadn’t been reached since the 1990s. Thermometers peaked at 95 degrees last Sunday, 94 on Monday, and 95 again Tuesday. This is roughly 7 degrees above the average for this time of the year.

For today, Miami-Dade County should expect rain from 4 to 9 p.m. The cloudy day is the result of a cold front likely to arrive in South Florida Friday that will drop high temperatures to the low to mid 80s until Friday.

This cold front will also bring lower humidity to start the weekend. Then there will be higher temperatures with a maximum of 88 degrees on Sunday.
