The Youth World Cup is preparing to unite young soccer players from all over the world in a tournament designed to inspire the next generation of athletes. Open to players ages 8 to 19, the event offers both recreational and competitive divisions, allowing teams of all skill levels to participate in a global soccer experience that mirrors the intensity and excitement of the professional game.

The tournament kicks off with group play from September to November 2025, guaranteeing each team at least three matches before moving into the knockout rounds. The top teams will advance to the highly anticipated Championship Weekend in Miami, scheduled for May 28-31, 2026.

Beyond the competition, the Youth World Cup focuses on building community, passion and cultural exchange through the sport. Coaches, organizers and families alike see it as more than just a series of matches — it’s an opportunity to foster lifelong connections with the game.

It’s important for the kids to see soccer, the passion it brings, and to get them involved and build a relationship with the sport,” said Coach Diego Montalvan.

Montalvan and others believe events like this lay the foundation for player development both on and off the field. With registration opening on soon, excitement is growing across clubs worldwide as young athletes prepare to take part in a tournament that could shape their future in the sport.
