A 37-year-old man has been arrested after driving into a gas station in Tampa. The driver, Anthony Katosh, was charged with criminal mischief but the matter is still under investigation.
A person walking into the station was hit by the car. Both the pedestrian and the driver were taken to Tampa General Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
“It’s a miracle that they’re doing as well as they’re doing,” Marco Villarreal of the Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office said. “When they were taken to the hospital thankfully, they were taken with some serious injuries, but they were quickly reported stable.”
