FIU softball kicked off its season with a showdown at the Felsburg Stadium this past Friday. The ladies played two games in the NCAA Division 1 season invitational.
Panther fans came together to cheered for the players as they stepped onto the field.
“It’s really cool to come out and support,” said FIU baseball player Ryne Guida as he and his teammates gather in the stands for the softball game. “They usually come out to support us too.”
The final score didn’t make for much cheering, though. It was Ohio State 6, FIU 1.
