Góngora and Meiner in runoff for Miami Beach mayor (includes video story)

Miami Beach voters will have to vote one more time to elect a mayor.

Michael Góngora and Steven Meiner will compete in the runoff for Miami Beach mayor on Nov. 21. The winner will replace Dan Gelber, who will hit his term limit.

Now, the two candidates will continue their campaigns and encourage voters to come out in two weeks to mark their ballots once more.

Michael Góngora’s father, Alberto, says: “We got to knock on doors. We got to get Michaels’s message to the people.”
