Suspect arrested in Cash App founder murder (includes video story)

New details emerge about the killing of Cash app founder Bob Lee, who was stabbed to death in San Francisco while visiting from Miami.

The sole suspect in the case, 38-year-old Nima Moneni, was arrested and charged with first-degree murder on Friday. He is being held without bail until his judgment date on April 25.

Motives for the murder are under investigation. San Francisco District Attorney Brooke Jenkins said the two men knew each other through Momeni’s sister.

Brooke said, “The two men appear to have been connected through Mr. Moi’s sister, and that she is somebody that Mr. Lee knew for some time, and that he was in her home prior to the murder and that’s where the two men were together before they left her apartment.”
