Future Educators of America Regional Conference

On Thursday, Nov. 15, Florida International University (FIU) will host the fifth annual South Florida Regional FEA conference at the university's Graham Center. High school students will come together to participate in competitions, networking, developing skills, workshops, etc. This event is meant for students who interested in educational and career options.

Voces del Periodismo Award Ceremony

On November 16, the National Association of Hispanic Journalists will present the first edition of the awards for Voces del Periodismo. The award ceremony will take place at the Wolfe Theater Lobby at FIU BBC Campus. Winners will be picked from three categories of journalism: photo, audiovisual, and written.

Vintage Fair

On November 17, the Festival Marketplace will host a Vintage Fair. The fair will feature 33 vendors selling vintage, antique, and handcrafted items. The fair run from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. filled with great finds and fun times. Entrance is free, but those interested in being vendors must pay $75.

22nd Annual Miracle on 136th Street Holiday Parade

Deering Holiday Wonderland

From December 1 to the 31, Deering Estate celebrates the holiday season with the Deering Holiday Wonderland. The festival features different events including: Story time and photos with Santa Claus (Saturday, December 8th), Festival of Trees evening stroll (Wednesday, December 12th), as well as the Holiday Champagne Bay Cruise (Sunday, December 16th).
