Florida Police K9 Midnight played a pivotal role in reuniting a three-year-old boy with his family after he went missing in the woods.
The child, known to explore the wooded area under parental supervision frequently, appeared to have wandered off, prompting concerns among authorities.
Utilizing Midnight’s tracking abilities, the team successfully traced the child’s scent, aided by the boy’s blanket. Remarkably, the young boy was likely to have remained in one spot, making it easier for them to find him
Corporal Damon Clark, recounting the emotional moment, expressed, “By the time I got back there, he’s licking the little boy’s face, and he’s all over the little boy, and he’s looking back at me like, Hey, I got it. Here it is.”
