Fire officials advise caution after two shark attacks in the Florida Panhandle (includes video story)

Three people in Florida were injured Friday afternoon in two separate shark attacks near Panama City Beach. The attacks occurred within 90 minutes of each other and were four miles apart.

The victim injured in the first attack was reportedly swimming with her husband past the first sandbar. The victim sustained significant injuries to her midsection and pelvic area and her left lower arm was amputated. She was taken to the hospital in critical condition.

Ninety minutes later, two girls, 15 to 17 years old, were inside the first sandbar with friends when they were attacked. One victim was significantly injured in their upper leg and hand, and was flown to the hospital in critical condition. The other teen had minor injuries to her foot and was discharged from the hospital the next day.
