Udonis Haslem’s career was honored on Friday night as the Miami Heat lifted his jersey to the rafters, ensuring no player would wear the number 40 in Miami ever again.
Dwyane Wade, Time Hardaway and other basketball royalty were in attendance to watch Haslem and fans celebrate the honor.
“UD’s career means a lot to me,” says Heat fan Anthony Norton. “Growing up watching Miami play, the passion he put into the game and how much he leaves on the floor and how much he supports his teammates.”
Fans will always be reminded of Haslem’s career when they visit the Kaseya Center.
