Parents reunite with first responders who saved toddler’s life (includes video story)

Coral Springs parents were able to embrace the first responders who saved their 2-year-old son from drowning, and it was a touching reunion marked by cries of gratitude.

A police officer was seen performing CPR on the toddler in a video taken by an officer’s body camera.

The mother shared her gratitude with neighbors, officers and medics coming to the rescue.

“Once I picked up cpr, all I could see was my child on the ground, and I was thinking to myself, ‘Hey, I have to save this kid’s life,’” said Officer Hakeem Rainey.
