A mother’s daily focus on family, love and faith (includes audio show)

Lauren Estrada is a 43 year-old woman and a stay-at-home mom who takes care of her three children, Danielle, Gabrielle, and Arielle with the help of her husband, Carlos Estrada.

She worked at HealthSouth for many years, but left back in the summer of 2012 when her third child Arielle was born. Now caring for the kids and home is a full-time job.

During the week, Lauren starts her day getting her youngest daughter ready for school, then drops her off with her husband. She then returns home, runs errands and picks up her youngest daughter and also maintains her home.

On weekends she relaxes with her family. Lauren’s biggest challenge is attending to the needs of her three children.

Her two older kids are adults. The oldest, Danielle, is married and the second, Gabrielle, is a college student. She gives both advice on how to navigate the adult world, while taking care of the youngest who is in middle school.

In the end, being a stay-at-home mom gave Lauren the opportunity to be there for her family and other people. She teaches all three of her children how to be a decent, loving and to strengthen their faith and navigate the world with love by helping others.

Gabrielle Estrada is a senior majoring in Digital Communication and Media. She enjoys writing stories, reading the Bible, art, writing movie reviews, and watching films. As a student with autism, she wants to use her voice through films and storytelling, to educate people about autism and create more representation for the autism community. After graduation, she plans on pursuing a career in the film industry, creating stories on diversity and inclusion.
