Student-athletes can make more money than ever before (includes video story)

A new company is making it easier for college athletes to make money from their names, images and likenesses.

Nilly, created by co-founder Chris Ricciardi and former NBA champion Kendrick Perkins, aims to help students manage endorsements and their finances.

“We didn’t have this 21 years ago when I came out of high school and had to go to the pros because of my financial situation,” said Perkins. “It’s time for the athletes to be able to control their destiny.”
