Miss Grand Florida hosted beauty queens in South Florida (includes video story)

The Miss Grand Florida Pageant took place Sunday in Doral with women from across the state competing for the crown.

During the pageant, the contestants addressed the need to strive for inclusivity while celebrating the beauty and talents of individuals across Florida.

“Inclusivity matters a lot,” said Ashli Small, Miss Eco Florida International. “We are all different women, we are all different shapes and sizes by owning yourself and your truth. It allows your personality to shine.”

Participants engaged in many events, such as interviews showcasing funds for charity and swimsuit competitions.

Ivana Garcia won the title and will be representing the Sunshine State in the Miss Grand United States Pageant in August.
