On Wednesday, family, friends and community members gathered for a vigil to honor Elyas Marshall-Rodriguez, a nine-year-old boy was killed when a school bus ran him over near Orlando.
Elyas is a cancer survivor who was run over by the school bus that he rode.
His family talked about his energy and how the community loves him. They have set up a GoFundMe, describing the long journey ahead for the family.
The county has offered grief counseling for schools in the area.

Ambrister is a member of the National Society of Leadership and Success where she has developed leadership and organizational skills. She plans to pursue her master's degree in journalism at the Annenberg School of Communication at the University of Southern California.
Ambrister will graduate from the Lee Caplin School of Journalism & Media with a Bachelor of Arts in digital broadcast and media with an area of concentration in Psychology in 2024.
