When life gives you lemons, celebrate National Lemon Juice Day (includes video story)

Aug. 29 is National Lemon Juice Day. The sour fruit used in many meals and recipes originated in the Himalayan Mountains and has been around for millions of years.

The fruit juice, known for its particularly sour flavor, is used in desserts, salads, meats and fish.

But perhaps the best use of fresh lemon juice is making a refreshing lemonade. When life gives you lemons, make lemonade.
