South Florida filmmakers present their work at Subculture Film Festival (includes video story)

Independent moviemakers presented their work at the Subculture Film Festival, a three-day event in West Palm Beach that brings together filmmakers from all over South Florida.

On the second day, the festival screened films and hosted industry panels.

“It’s a great opportunity for a lot of actors and a lot of filmmakers to talk to each other, see each other, get exposed to things,” said actor Ronal Borrell, who starred in “The Returning Curse of Unresolved Love.”

The subculture film festival took place from Friday, Oct. 20 to Sunday, Oct. 22. It sold out for its opening night at the Norton Museum. Afflux Studios hosted the second and third day of the festival.
