The Deering Estate is a huge historical attraction in Palmetto Bay that hosts many events year-round including tours of the estate, kayak adventures on the water, and their most iconic event, the Deering Seafood Festival, which was held this past weekend.
Now in its 18th year, this gathering brought businesses and people together at the waterfront estate.
“It’s a huge process and it takes a lot of work,” said Candis Underhill, the assistant event coordinator. “We have been trying for months now to get this event going.”
The iconic Deering Seafood Festival will return for its 19th year next spring, so when the time comes be sure to check it out.
