FIU Panthers baseball senior promises big future in MLB (includes video story)

The baseball diamond at Florida International University has seen its fair share of legends, and among them is standout senior Ryne Guida, whose skill and determination hint at a promising future in the major leagues.

Guida said his primary focus is to get as many wins as he can and “keep the boys rolling.”

Supporting Ryne every step of the way is his father and best friend, Stephen Guida, a constant presence in the stands and a voice of encouragement.

“I think Ryne can make it to the highest levels because he likes to be successful, but he doesn’t live for it,” said Stephen. “He’s a team guy. He’s a guy that will always have your back.”

Guida’s approach to his baseball career is both grounded and forward-thinking. While he acknowledges the possibility of playing at the next level, he remains focused on the present.

“I want to keep playing as long as I can. It’s a realistic opportunity,” said Guida. “Right now, I’m just worried about the season as far as taking it one day at a time.”

As the season progresses, Guida’s unwavering commitment to excellence shines through. With his sights set firmly on the future, he takes each game one swing at a time, leaving a lasting impression on Panther baseball fans.
