Prime Video comedy “Ricky Stanicky” premieres at Regal South Beach (includes video story)

Laughs were heard throughout the Regal South Beach theater last night following the premiere of Amazon Prime Video’s latest comedy, “Ricky Stanicky,” starring John Cena and Zac Efron.

Fans poured in for the preview and were surprised to find Cena stalking down the red carpet, conversing, hugging, and taking pictures with the film’s supporters.

“Ricky Stanicky” is about a group of friends who make up an imaginary best friend to blame their childhood shenanigans on. Twenty years later, the pretend scapegoat still holds, but it might not be the answer to their problems after all.

“I’ve been very lucky and ended up with the right people,” said Director Peter Farrelly about the cast, who he pushed to step outside the box for the movie.

The film will be available for streaming on Amazon Prime Video beginning Thursday, March 7.
