Bob Marley film debuts on South Beach (includes video story)

“One Love,” a biopic describing the life and legacy of reggae legend Bob Marley, debuts this Valentine’s Day in South Beach at the Regal Theatre on Lincoln Road.

Dozens of people attended the premiere of the film last week at the theater. Marley family members, celebrities, and guests who attended said they were inspired by the singer’s life and values, which included unity, love, and peace.

Actor Kingsley Ben-Adir plays Marley, who is often considered the “King of Reggae.”

“There was a lot to learn with Bob,” said Ben-Adir. “He was a musical artist, and I don’t know music the way Bob [knew] music.”
