A North Carolina couple, Phil and Jessica Ridley, are mourning the tragic loss of two of their three dogs, whom they claim were murdered by their neighbors, Agnes and James Goldston.
The Goldstons were arrested last night on three counts of animal cruelty stemming from alleged poisoning and killing of the dogs.
Authorities believe the couple, who had expressed their disapproval of the neighbors’ yard and new driveway, baited the pets using squirrels.
An arrest warrant claims the Goldstons also threatened the Ridley’s child by saying: “Your daughter is next. Be careful.”
