Voters hope Biden addresses Latin America in State of Union (includes video story)

President Joe Biden will deliver the final State of the Union address of his term tonight. In light of the November presidential election, voters are eager to hear what President Biden may say about the United States’ relations with Latin America.

The Venezuelan presidential election set to take place in July has been major news for South Florida. The nation’s highest concentration of Venezuelans currently reside in Doral and Weston.

A recent press release from the White House details the threat the South American country poses to the national security and foreign policy of the United States.

“Migrants, Hispanics, second-generation people who are long-time residents of South Florida feel that the Biden administration has been way too lenient with Venezuela, way too ineffective to reach any solutions,” said Teen Vogue 2024 election correspondent Samuel Larreal.
